MX-1 SNIB3 Factory Default

Introduction

Velocity relies on the configuration of the IP address of the SNIB3. If the computer searching for the SNIB3 is on a different network than what the SNIB3 is programmed with, then resetting the SNIB3 to factory defaults may be necessary.

Solution:

Reset MX-1 SNIB3 to Factory Defaults

  1. Power down the MX-1

  2. Set configuration switches 1 through 4 to the ON position. Set Address to 0

  3. Power on the SNIB3

a)    Let it finish booting up, then power down again

b)    Set switches 2-3 back to OFF. Set Address to 1

c)    Power up the SNIB3

  1. Use SNIBConfigurationTool or Velocity to assign IP4 Address
