Clearing Backed-up Downloads

Introduction

There are instances where too many old incomplete controller downloads may prevent new downloads from properly queuing and completing. This may require manual removal of these old incomplete downloads.

 

Solution

  • Open the Velocity Download monitor.

  • Select all downloads and abort downloads.

  • Stop the Velocity Digi*Trac Network Service

  • Navigate to the Velocity root directory – typically, C:\ProgramData\Identiv\Velocity\Spooler or folder older versions of Velocity, the install directory \Program Files (x86)\Identiv\Velocity\Spooler delete all items except for the Batch Errors folder.

  • Open SQL Server Management Studio and run the following query.

    USE Velocity

    DELETE BatchQueue

    DELETE TransactionQueue

    DELETE TransactionQueue

  • Start the Velocity Digi*Trac Network Service.

  • Download configuration and credentials to the affected controller to ensure Velocity programming is synchronized with the controllers.
