Access Denied: This computer is not authorized to connect to Velocity

When the “Access Denied: This computer is not authorized to connect to Velocity” error is produced, it is due to the Workstation or User being used not being correctly registered in the SQL/Velocity Database.

To fix this issue:

  • Open SQL

  • Under Databases, select Velocity, Tables, open the dbo.Workstations table

  • Verify the Workstation that is being used is listed under WorkstationName

  • Under Databases, select Velocity, Tables, open the dbo.Registry table

  • Verify the Server IP listed is correct under RemoteIP

  • Close Velocity to save information

  • Restart Velocity and attempt to log in
