How to search for events of specific faces?

Instructions

To search for events of specific faces using facial recognition:

  1. Go to the Monitor tab of OpCenter. Under Click here to choose events..., check the box next to Faces.

  2. Either:

    • Right-click on the person's face. In the drop-down menu, select Search for person. 
      (or)

    • Select the person (by left-clicking), who will then appear in the bottom right of the Monitor panel. Click Search for person.

  3. The Search tab displays. Adjust the Date Range and Channels as needed. Make sure the Specify: button (instead of All) is selected. Adjust the Similarity thresholds.

  4. Click Search... on the bottom left. The instances the person appears on video will show up in the search results.
