Status Dashboard Tab
The Status Dashboard allows you to quickly review all the current widgets such as Access Summary, People/Credentials, Queued Downloads, Live Events, Performance Status, Door Status, Status Viewer, and Online Active Users. You can use your mouse to drag and drop to order the widget you are monitoring to the preferred location you desire on your screen at any time.
Before you can view the status of inputs or expansion inputs, first configure the required inputs to report the status changes.
Viewing Status Dashboard Widgets
Access Summary (Today Date) | This widget displays all the Access Granted and Denied transactions for the current day ONLY, the date will be based on the Host Time. |
Host Time | The current time at the controller where this transaction occurred. |
Controller Time | This indicates the current time of the Controller. |
Location | Name of the door where the transaction occurred. |
Person/Operator | Name of the person or operator generating the transaction. |
Access Grants | Number of access granted transactions for today. |
Access Denied | Number of access denied transactions for today. |
People/Credentials | This widget displays the total number of people and credentials in the database. It also gives you a pie chart indication of how many credentials have had access or not in the last 30 days. |
People | Number of people in the database. |
Credentials | Number of credentials in the database. |
Queued Downloads | This widget displays active or queued downloads currently taking place. |
ID | The download ID number assigned to this download. |
Controller | The name of the controller receiving the download. |
Start Time | The date and time when the download was issued. |
Status | The current status of the download. There are three states reported:

Description | A brief description of the type of download, such as; Define All Controller Setups, Define Door or Define Users. |
Count | The number of commands in the download. |
Complete | The number of commands already downloaded. |
Progress | The percentage of the download that has been accomplished. |
Errors | The number of errors encountered on this download. If the Download has an error, the row will not disappear automatically. |
Abort Download | Right-click on the download you want to abort and select Abort Download or to multi-select use the check box on the left and select which downloads you want to abort. A Download Cancel Confirmation message will appear, as shown below. Click Yes to abort the selected download or click No to disregard the Abort Download. |

Type | Lists information of the Application and SQL Servers along with performance of all Velocity Services installed, such as:
The services listed are dependent on what services are installed in the Velocity application server. |
Description | Lists out the parameter values in terms of:

Events | This widget displays all events detected by the Web Client. For more details please refer to Events Viewer. |
Events Summary (Today) | This widget displays a summary of current date Events detected by the Web Client in a graphical view. For more details please refer to Events Type. |
Online Active Users | This widget indicates which operators are currently connected to the Web Client. |
Operator | Displays operator name who is connected. |
Logged in Time (Host Time) | Displays date and time of when the operator connected based on the Velocity host date and time. |
IP Address | Displays the public IP address where this operator is connecting from. |
Pagination | Click the link to know more about Pagination functions. |
Sort | Click this icon to sort the column in ascending or descending orders respectively. |
The Collapse/Expand () arrow on the top right of each widget of the Status Dashboard allows you to refresh the data as some of these widgets do not refresh automatically.
Status Bar
The bottom pane on the VWC main window is the status bar, which is sometimes also called the VWC system tray.
The status bar contains the following sections:
DIGI*TRAC Service | Displays status of the DIGI*TRAC Service which runs on the Velocity Host (Online/Offline). This can also be seen within the Performance Status widget along with the rest of the services. |
Active Alarms | The current number of active alarms. Clicking this icon will take you to the Alarms tab which provides details about the active alarms. |
Ack Alarms | The current number of acknowledged alarms. Clicking this icon will take you to the Alarms tab which provides details about the acknowledged alarms. |
Off Normal | The current number of off normal points. This indicates hardware that has been configured but not yet enabled. Clicking this icon will open the Off Normal Points window as shown below:
