ADAM configuration utility: Advantech AdamApax .NET Utility Ver 2.04.04.exe included on a disc in the box with the ADAM device, or can be downloaded from support.advantech.com1.
Connect the ADAM 6050 to the network with the Ethernet cable. Launch the Adam Apax .NET Utility. Right-click your computer’s IP address (under Ethernet) and select Search. The utility will then search the network for ADAM modules on the network. The default IP address of the ADAM module is 10.0.0.1. You will find it listed under the Others item, named something like ADAM5000TCP_6000. Configure the network settings of the ADAM, then click Apply Change. You will be prompted for the password; the default password of the ADAM module is 00000000. Click the Peer to Peer/Event tab. Under Mode, select Basic and then click Apply. Change the Period time setting to 4095 seconds (this is the maximum value). Click the check box next to Enable Change of State. In the Destination box, type the IP address of the 3VR VIP Appliance. Click Apply List to save your changes
