V8.1.4.1 (March 2020)

New Enhancements

  • ONVIF
    • Added support for ONVIF Multi Channel Camera.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed bug that stopped adding back a deleted user
  • Fixed bug that generated false Enterprise network connection failure alerts
  • Fixed bugs to improve the DB backup and recovery mechanism

System Manager

  • Fixed bug which requires to Run in Administrator mode and throws an error when a system manager client application is launched by double clicking the application
  • Added the missing numeric validation for Web Services port change value
  • Fixed bug that generates false Camera connectivity Health Alerts happening with in the set threshold
  • Fixed bug in VMS servers where Templates with camera settings fails to get applied

New Enhancements

  • System Manager / Camera Driver
    • New Bosch Universal Driver has been added in the camera driver family to support Bosch cameras
    • Panasonic driver shows H.264 as stream 3 instead of MJPEG

Fixed Issues

  • System Manager:
    • Shows a message if database password has expired
    • User gets notification upon trying to restart or shut down the system while database backup is happening

  • Logging:
    • Windows events logs can be exported with system diagnostics from System Manager
  • OpCenter:
    • System Manager has a level 4 property called “OpCenter Maximum Channel Allow”. This property has minimum value 4 and maximum value 36. Number of channels shown in OpCenter can be limited by setting the appropriate value for this property
  • Dashboard:
    • Hella Firmware 1.15 support has been added to VMS for Dashboard client

Fixed Issues

  • Performance:
    • Reduced the delay while removing an appliance from a region having large number of appliances
    • Added functionality to rebuild Windows performance counter in the registry to avoid disconnection between VMS and Database
  • System Manager:
    • Fixed a bug related to force removal of the appliance from System Manager for MSSQL based enterprise
    • “Deletion Threshold” setting is now available at integrator role (or level 3 role)
  • OpCenter Crash:
    • Fixed a bug to avoid a rare OpCenter crash when Clear All button is pressed

Camera Drivers

  • Added 640x640, 480x480, and 320x320 resolutions for 360p cameras with smart streaming
  • In System Manager the GOV-length is available for user in Onvif driver

OpCenter

  • High resolution video is available in four up-view mode in OpCenter when Smart Streaming is enabled

    • Improved loading time for system details after user performs enterprise check from System Manager

OpCenter

  • New installation of remote client application will set the default OpCenter connection speed high. The upgraded client application will continue to have the same speed setting that was set before upgrade

  • ONVIF driver for cameras now includes optional setting for performing analysis only on I-frames. This reduces 3VR system manager resource demands and may reduce motion detection response.
