The Velocity Web Services can be installed either during the server installation or the workstation installation or separately after installing Velocity into your system. The Velocity Web Services Installation is required as part of the Velocity Web Service Client (VWSC) installation.

If you are installing the Velocity Web Services Client, you must first install Microsoft’s Internet Information Services (IIS), as described in “Installing IIS to Support the Velocity Web Services Client” section.
