How to Find the Serial Number and Part Number?
Instructions
The serial number can be found in the following places:
On a white sticker on the server.
On the outside of shipping package on white sticker with bar code and part number.
On the packing slip that came with the shipment
In System Manager, after clicking the server name on the left in the Manage Servers tab:
on shipping box:
In P-Series the serial number is found on the front on a white sticker, behind the front panel. It is also on the back next to the part number.
In S-Series the serial number is found on the left side of the unit (from the perspective of someone facing the front of the SmartRecorder) on a white sticker. The part number is found on the right side of the unit.
