After you have installed Velocity 3.8.3, you can turn the Windows Firewall ON and configure the firewall to accommodate access to the-required SQL Server and Velocity ports. (This is required for a Velocity Client/Server installation, but is not necessary for a Velocity standalone Workstation installation.)
