Displaying charts based on Single Column View
Sometimes, the data in the charts appear cluttered and overlap with increasing data points based on the configured servers and stores. This can be avoided by making the configuration changes in chart settings:
- Login to 3VR Dashboard as Administrator.
Click Configuration→ General Configuration. The Chart Settings page appears.
Enter the Exit category, Store Hours, and Threshold(min) values as shown.
Note The Default selection (By Server/By Channels) option is user based and it appears as default selection during login.
- Click Submit.
- Re-login and select your chart based on average visitors by gender by day of week for the stores.
As per your configuration, the Average Visitors by Gender & Day of Week chart gets displayed on Single Column View and By Channels as shown below. - If the user selects more server/channels than what has been configured previously, an Invalid Selection error dialog appears as shown:
Visitor Traffic
Visitor Traffic data is an important indicator that helps businesses to understand the shopper’s behavior and make data driven decisions. The 3VR VMS Dashboard analyzes different traffic counters to arrive at different charts.

The Average Visitors’ by Hour chart provides the average number of visitors per hour over a selected date range. The chart in the Figure below calculates the average visitors by hour.
Displaying Charts based on Consolidated View
The Consolidated View for displaying charts enables the user to view consolidated server count results as against individual server count. The chart in the Figure below calculates the average visitors by hour.consolidated View count by Servers appear as shown below.
In the above chart, the individual server counts of VMS 001 and VMS 002 are consolidated to show the count as 7389.
Visitor Age Analytics
The Age Analytics Data Chart provides the visitors’ age-group. The charts in Figure below categorizes the visitors by their age group.

- Login to 3VR Dashboard as Administrator.
- Click CONFIGURATION.
- Select the Report Scheduler Tab menu. The Email Configuration and Recipient Configuration pane appears as shown in Figure below.
Enter the SMTP Email Server domain name or IP Address in the Email Server field.
Note The user must not configure the port number with their Gmail ID in the Email Server field. For example, entering "smtp.gmail.com" in the Email Server field is correct and "smtp.gmail.com:587" is incorrect.
- Enter the email address of the SMTP user in the Email Address field.
- Select the Requires Authorization box checkbox if SMTP server requires authentication or do not select the checkbox if it does not require any authorization.
- Enter the Username and Password of the SMTP server if the Requires Authorization checkbox is selected.

- Click Analytic Sensor Configuration Tab menu. A blank page displays suggesting the user to configure stores for suggesting the user to configure stores for Premium Queue Analytics.

Store Administration
3VR Dashboard Store Administration allows to add, modify, and delete existing store details for setting up store mapping with data sensor plug-in. After configuring the store details, The Store Administration pane appears as shown in Figure below.

To configure or add premium queue analytics:
Click Configuration and select Analytic Sensor Configuration tab→Premium Queue Analytics→ Add button.
Select Store Name and Channel Name.
Select Extended Channel drop-down when the main Channel Name has any extended queue channel.
Select Enabled checkbox and click Add as shown below.

While adding, the Primary queue must be added as Channel Name and Extended queue must be added as Extended Channel. Assuming that the user configures by mistake the Primary queue/Extended queue then, click Edit and Disable existing configuration and create a new configuration using Add option. |

Enabling and Disabling in Premium Queue

The comma-separate value (.csv) files separates every piece of information by a comma before it moves to the next field in the list.
The user might encounter format error during importing .csv files due to incorrect delimiters in the form of extra commas in the list.
To check and remove extra commas in a CSV file :
- Open .csv file in Notepad.
- Remove any extra commas at the end of lines or at the end of the file.
- Save the file as a .csv file.
- Import the .csv file again to the 3VR Dashboard.
Appendix B - User Session Search
The User session allows to maintain the previous search information. The input fields that are filtered based on the attributes such as Start Date, End Date, Chart Interval, by Server and by Channels are session based and are maintained after every re-login.
