In the OnGuard license administration application, check to be sure that “Maximum “Maximum Number of DataConduIT Clients” Clients” is at least 1 (more if you’re using other DataConduIT services on your system).

Launch and sign in to the OnGuard System Administration application.
From the Administration menu, select Directories.
Click Add. In the Add Directory dialog window, under Based on template select Windows Vista/XP Workstation.
Click OK.
Enter a directory Name.
Verify that Enable single sign-on is checked.
Click Browse and select the Host name.
Click OK to save your changes.
From the Administration menu, select Users.
Select the user account you wish to use from the list. It is recommended that you use ‘System Account’ or create a new user account.
Click Modify.
Ensure that Access to this system is disabled is not checked.
In the Directory Accounts tab, click the Link button.
Select the Windows account that should be linked to the OnGuard user account.
Click OK in the Select Account window.

Enabling Software Events

From the Startup type drop-down menu, select Automatic.
Click the Start button.

If version 2.0 of the Microsoft .Net Framework is not available on the system, it will be automatically installed. This may take several minutes.
When the installer wizard welcome screen is displayed, click Next.

After the install completes, click Finish to exit the installer.
Starting the 3VR Access Events Service

In the Edit dialog box, enter the display name of the 3VR, its IP address, and the login credentials that should be used to access the system.
Edit the channel Mappings to link each Reader to a channel on the Appliance.
When you are finished, close the utility.

Click the plus sign next to the Appliance display name to display the list of configuration options.
Click the plus sign next to Channels.
Select the first channel that was mapped to a OnGuard Reader in the previous section.

Set Allow Demand Image Buffering to Yes (On).

In the Monitor panel, select the channel numbers that were mapped to OnGuard devices in step 8.
Choose a recent time frame, such as 30 minutes.
Click the arrow next to Click here to choose event types and select Lenel Event from the drop-down menu.
If the integration is successful, the Monitor panel will populate with one or more Lenel event cards.
